Our Wildlife Hide

WFG Hide

Information & Booking Calendar

The WFG Hide is now available for bookings from 6 AM in consecutive two-hourly slots up until 10 PM.

The Wildlife Focus Group (WFG) Hide was created by Kirriemuir Photography Club members with the support of Kinnordy Estate. Built and maintained by a small team of caretakers (Bob Smith, Michael Visocchi, Mike Kiely, Iain Galbraith & Malcolm McBeath), the hide provides members with an affordable way to enjoy and photograph local wildlife in a peaceful setting.

The hide accommodates up to 4 people, with front and back ponds and a variety of props to encourage wildlife activity. Feed is put out regularly, even if there are no bookings, so birds and red squirrels are usually active within minutes of your arrival.
